Michter’s US1 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made from a carefully selected mashbill that features the highest quality American corn. It is then matured to the peak of perfection. Truly “small batch” each batch of our US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is batched in a holding tank sized to fit a maximum of twenty full barrels, leaving no margin for “blending out” imperfection and thus necessitating excellence from every barrel.

Produced in small batches, typically twenty-four barrels or fewer per batch and aged for around eight years, Michter’s US*1 is an excellent Bourbon.

Tasting Notes:

Teasing with caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit notes, this is a delightful drink to both spend time with and to enjoy through the night. Complex nose, with an appealing overlay of camphor. The sweetness comes first, a concentrated quality, then corn and wood smoke flavors with rye underpinning. The finish is lingering with wood notes mingling with sweet maple syrup flavors.
