Frog’s Leap Napa Valley Merlot

The Frog’s Leap Rutherford Merlot is rich and supple, with the low yields perhaps pushing the fruit a little darker and more brooding than usual. With air, the wine opens into exuberant herbal-floral black cherries with plush tannins.

Extravagant plum fruit aromas enriched by the lush flavors that Merlot is famous for. Grown in cool clay soils, this wine shows why some of the rarest wines in the world start with Merlot.

This wine offers aromas of red currant, damp earth and a touch of cedar. Across the palate the wine’s soft and plush texture is full of fruit flavors like plum and black cherry lead to a lingering finish that hints at toasted almonds. Organically Farmed.
